Located on Alamitos Bay in the heart of Naples, California (Long Beach), this home has the morning sunrises and evening sunsets that make this home feel like your on vacation everyday. The Client requested a Contemporary design with warmth. They wanted to feel like they were living in a Polynesian resort without seeming too much for the small-town neighborhood. Using materials like stone and stained dark woods helped tone down some of the obvious contemporary features. The Bermuda shutters, large stained wood/glass entry doors and patina green copper roof incorporated the "resort feel" the Client requested. The entry looks right through the home over an infinity edged pool that seems to spill right off into the ocean. The use of the mahogany windows carefully situated, virtually creates an ocean view from every room in the house.

Located on the "Gold Coast" of Seal Beach, CA this home will be built next to the Seal Beach Pier in 2010. The Owners request were simple. Big rooms, Lots of views and a design that would last the test of time. The Tuscany designed home is on a typical 35' wide lot, so the challenge was to give all the rooms a view of the Pacific Ocean. We created a 3D study to show our client that the home will achieve all this with all rooms having spacious dimensions. All the ceilings on the first floor will have 10' and the second floor ceilings are vaulted with custom coffer designs.
